Sweden is not only the country of ABBA, kötbullar and beautiful nature. It is also the home of a healthy office ritual that we at JustBite really believe in: Fika! The break time they all go for in Sweden.
And if we want to achieve one thing, it is that people can consciously and healthily enjoy their break time with a healthy, tasty snack.
Stop! Fika-time!
So what is this Fika and why do Sweden swear by it so much?
In a nutshell, Fika is deliberately stopping your activities and taking a short break away from your desk, enjoying a cup of coffee or tea and something tasty.
But it's also so much more than that! It is a planned moment to really take a break, together with friends and/or colleagues. It gives you a chance to take a healthy break and really connect with others. It gives your body and mind a well-deserved break to then be able to continue working with full concentration, refreshed and invigorated.
But it also offers you and your employees a moment of reflection and the opportunity to clear your heads. And so there is room for fresh, brilliant and fantastic ideas!
