How it all started...
As a passionate (endurance) athlete with a great passion for healthy food, Kevin noticed in 2017 that many so-called 'healthy' snacks on the market often still contained high amounts of sugars, fats or other additives.
There had to be a better way done better, he thought. And indeed, a year later (in 2018), he developed together with a dietitian a model to screen balanced snacks. Kevin turned the frustration he felt into a positive and entrepreneurial idea - et voilΓ : JustBite was born.
Our evolution: from more nutritious to more sustainable and fairer
What began as a search for more nutritious options quickly grew into something broader and fairer: it had to. Because snacking isn't just about calories or carbohydrates. It's also about how something is made, who stands behind it, and what impact it has on our planet.
That's why we broadened our prespective. From purely nutritional → to sustainable → to fair. Without ever losing sight of our original vision: better snacking should be logical, tasty and easy.
